The Resort is located along Malgund-Varawade beach within 4.0 kms from the famous Ganpatipule Ganesh Temple on Ganpatipule – Malgund – Warawade road. Ganapatipule (located in Ratnagiri District) is approximately 375 kms away from Mumbai and It can be reached in a few hour’s drive by road from Mumbai, Pune, Nasik, Kolhapur and Goa.
The Konkan region, where Ganpatipule is located, has 720 kms of coast line on the west part of Maharashtra which begins soon after Mumbai, ends out and stretches upto Goa. The coastal strip of land is bounded by mighty Sahyadri hills on the east and Arabian sea on the west. When one comes to Ganpatipule, his vocabulary deserts him completely. The sand is clean, the water is blue, the lure irresistible. Dense forest cover and a landscape fringed with paddy coconut and mango trees attract both domestic and foreign tourists. The Swayambhu (Self originated) Ganpati Temple, on the Ganapatipule beach itself, is the primary attraction in Ganapatipule that draws thousands of pilgrims every year to this village. The God is considered to be the Paschim Dwardevta (Western direction God). There are many other tourist spots in Ganpatipule apart from the beaches and the ganapati temple.
Malgund at a distance of 2 KMs from Ganapatipule is the birthplace of the famous marathi poet Keshavsut and houses the memorial of the great poet.
Jaigad a 17th century fort about 15 KMs from Ganapatipule offers some spectacular views of the village and the sea.
The Karahateshwar temple near the Jaigad fort and Lakshmi Keshev temple in Kolisare is also worth a visit. Prachin Konkan is a life size museum in Ganapatipule depicting life in yester years in Konkan.
